Nice daypack

GoLite VO24 Backpack - Women's - 1400 cu in

Rating for this product: 5 June 29, 2007

This is a very nice very light daypack which seems to fit everything I like to take along on a day hike. I really like the little pockets on the waistbelt; I could fit chapstick, phone, snacks, bug spray, keys, etc. comfortably to keep at hand. Hiking poles fit in the back open pocket with bungee cord. A 70 oz. Camelbak bladder fits easily in the hydration pouch. Water bottle pouches on the side held bear spray and a bottle of Gatorade. The narrow design makes it easy to swing your arms while you walk. Ergonomically designed for a woman--very comfy. Best of all, my back and shoulders didn't ache at the end of a 13 mile hike as they would with my old pack. Highly recommended--but remember, the best pack is the one that fits you best!

Great natural fiber shirt

Of the Earth Ninja V-Neck Shirt - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 June 29, 2007

I ordered this for my husband, and it's his new favorite shirt. Super soft, a slightly heavier weight than the usual cotton t-shirt, nice and long enough to tuck in or leave out, washes well. He also likes that there aren't any ribknit cuffs, so he can push the sleeves up when desired.

Nice summer pants

The North Face Staghorn Pant - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 June 29, 2007

These pants are nice and light, great for summer. They fit wonderfully well. The stitching is a real contrast color on big front pockets, so it's a pretty casual look. The short pants are about a 27" inseam in size 4--too short even for me with my short legs, so be sure to get the right length.

Oversized blouse

The North Face Kayenta Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Women's

Rating for this product: 3 October 3, 2006

This blouse is cut quite large and the color is a little tricky (light yellow with blue print). The fabric also feels a little unpleasant. Still, it might be good for hiking if it fits you right & you like the color. It was not for me!
