I became interested in Patagonia shoes only after seeing this one; it really stood out for its design and ingenious ability to be two different shoes (the rubber sole slips off with the mary jane strap, so you also have a ballet-type flat). The flat is wearable outside. However, for me-the strap put too much pressure on the joint of my first metatarsal, which is already a bit tender, so I had to return them. NOTE: they run at smaller than most shoes, so order up @ least a 1/2 size.

This is a great looking shoe; extremely comfortable, true to size and good for long hours on your feet. Only caveat: do not begin your long shoe wearing periods all at once if you do not have other Dansko shoes; your feet need to gradually adjust to this kind of clog.
