Had to return mine after a couple days in salt water because the snaps corroded so badly. They were rinsed off after every use, and the snaps (black finish)on my wife's Harmony Deluxe Sit on Top Seat did fine, so wasn't a case of neglect. Hated to return it because the seat was comfortable, would be OK for fresh water.

The seat provides great support and the rubberized bottom keeps it from sliding about. There’s plenty of strap material to fit a variety of kayaks. The detachable bag/fanny pack is pretty small and the foam belt padding a bit too much, but the water bottle holders are nice.
