Perfect for anything

Endeavor Snowboards Next Series Snowboard

Rating for this product: 5 May 10, 2007

This is my first snowboard. I have been renting for several years, I am about a beginner/intermediate rider. This board is great for beginner-advanced riders. I am about 5'5" and for an all mountain board I am on a 153. It does have a wider stance than other boards, someone shorter than me would have a tougher time. I just adjusted my stance a little bit for comfort. It has a mid flex to it, great for anything you want to ride. has a good flex for beginners as well as park riders, but stiff enough for all mountain and some powder. Smooth transitions in my turns, it has improved my riding a ton.

Great for all winter conditions

Burton Cruizer Insulated Pant - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 May 10, 2007

These pants are awesome. Packed with all sorts of features you don’t see right away. I ordered the black thinking it was all black, turns out the 06/07’s have little white stripes in a grid pattern on them. I still love them. They have a light insulation. I stay warm when I need to, but on those warmer days there are vents for cooling. The chain is removable. I wore these on one of the wettest, snowiest days of the season, and stayed completely dry and warm. I used to freeze all the time, not I can stay warm and on the slopes longer. They do fit a little baggy.

Under the stars...

Black Diamond Winter Bivy Sack

Rating for this product: 5 October 2, 2006

I spend 6 months a year sleeping under the stars. I don't like tents. I use to freeze in my sleeping bag in the spring and fall months. When I got the winter bivy sack, it added the extra 10-15 degrees I needed to stay warm without a tent. Just by blocking out most of the wind, that a tent would do. It is small and very light weight.

Perfect to a T

Mountain Hardwear Sub Zero Down Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 October 2, 2006

In the middle of winter in the Rocky Mountains, I can get away with just a t-shirt on underneath and still be quite warm. It stuffs nice and small for carrying in a pack. I wear it all the time when it is cold out.

I pair is all you need.

Smith Toaster Slider Interchangeable Sunglasses - Polarized

Rating for this product: 5 October 2, 2006

I have had my smith toasters for 5 years. I love them, I thought I lost them and I was going to spend the money just to get another pair. I wear them everywhere, on the water, in the car, and on the slopes. I hardly ever change the lenses because just the amber lens makes crystal clear vision in about all conditions. I know when I don't have them.

Toe Loop

Chaco Z/2 Unaweep Sandal - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 October 2, 2006

As a river guide, I need a secure shoe, that has grip. The Z/2 Chaco, and all the other Chacos have great grip. I love the toe loop, helps keep my foot down on the footbed keeping me from getting sticks and what not between the sandal and my foot. I've been running, hiking and swimming in these, and they never feel like they are going to fall off.

Even in the rapids...

Marmot PreCip Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 October 2, 2006

I am a river guide, and I love this jacket. I wear it through any rain storm we get, and even through the rapids. It is easy to move in and I don't feel like I'm restricted. I can keep doing my job even in the worst storms.

The flip...

Chaco Flip Sandal - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 October 2, 2006

I wear my Chacos all the time as a river guide. I prefer the flip over all, they are the most comfortable. I have worn them on 8 mile hikes into the desert climbing on rocks that people in hiking boots have a hard time with. They have all the grip of the Z/2 and Z/1, with even more comfort.

Great in tough weather

Pacific Outdoor Equipment G2 Tarp

Rating for this product: 4 October 2, 2006

I have used this several times more for shelter than a ground cloth. I was able to get it to stay tied down through rain storms. Held up excellent in the rain, and wind, didn't pull on the buttons. Just like having a rain fly.
