I purchased the black down sweater, and I just love it! I needed a thin but warm fall "transitional" jacket (heavier than a my trench and lighter than my North Face Metropolis down coat) to throw over a sweater. This is a fantastic jacket -- very light but very, very warm. The jacket is slightly shaped, but there is plenty of room for layering (I usually wear a women's small in Patagonia; I got the small in this jacket and it fits great).

This is a comfortable, warm, and good- looking vest, but I want to let you know that the fit is slimmer than other Patagonia fleece vests. This is my first Retro-X vest, so I assumed that a women's small in this vest (what I usually wear in Patagonia) would be as roomy as my other Patagonia fleeces. I'm not sure if mine is an anomaly (I like it enough to not mind the slimmer fit), but just thought I should mention this to potential buyers.
