I bought this shirt just before I arrived in Japan during the rainy season. It's great on cool evenings, but the best thing is that even in hot and humid weather it barely shows any perspiration. I'm very pleased.

I just bought this hat before I arrived in Japan during the rainy season. At first I was worried that it was a little too floppy around the brim, but it has grown on my quickly. Fairly good coverage from the sun and keeps your head dry in light and intermittent rain.

This wasn't quite what I was hoping for from IceBreaker. First a good point: I really like the thumb harnesses - they help to seal up the wrist area in cold weather. I wish that they were a standard (or at least optional) feature on other long-sleeve IceBreakers. Two things that I didn't like so much: 1) the neck is wider (more open) than my other IceBreakers and 2) the seams around the elbows (which are only there for aesthetic purposes - to attach the colored fabric) are irritating on the inside of the arm. I prefer the bodyfit 260 midweight hands down.

This is my new favorite long-sleeve top. Warm, breathable, doesn't hold odor, dries quickly - all as advertised. Yeah, it's expensive, but it is Merino wool. Just think of it as an investment in the most versatile (and incognito) sweater you'll own.

This is a great base layer and it makes a nice stand-alone top even in mild weather.
