Most comfortable boot I've ever worn

Salomon Ivy Snowboard Boot - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 January 23, 2007

I have have the following boots which either caused calf bruising or shin pain/brusing: Northwave Freedom (cause arch pain); K2 T1 (calf pain and the tongue would always slide to the side); and DC Judge (shin bruises from the boa knob and toe pain). The Salomon Ivy is the only boot that enabled me to go a full day 9-4pm w/o any pain in ANY part of my foot or leg. I only wish I'd discovered this boot four years ago when I began riding. The boot is true to regular foot size (for me anyway).

Boa system great, but boot is not comfy

DC Judge Snowboard Boot - Women's

Rating for this product: 3 January 23, 2007

I only lasted two days in these boots. I really wanted to like them - the BOA lacing system is so easy on your hands - no chafing from lace-tightening. However, my shins ended up with painful bruised right where the boa knob was located. I experimented with loosening the knob and took out the sole inserts but I was still in pain. Too bad - hopefully I will be able to sell mine on eBay! Sizing - I wear a size 8 and ended up fitting into a size 7 in these boots.

Good looking, lot of space

Burton Wheelie Cargo - 5000 cu in

Rating for this product: 4 December 23, 2005

I bought this mainly for the plaid pattern, but I am happy to see that it has a lot more space than I was expecting. I also love the different options of carrying it, there are handles on the top and sides. The detachable toiletry bag inside is nice and roomy and you can hang it on a doorknob once you're unpacked. The only thing that I don't like about it that the handle only has one length option and it's sort of difficult to get it to tilt onto the wheels with the handle all the way up (as compared to another suitcase I have). But I am very happy with this bag overall.
