waterproof, not too hot and a little tight
The North Face Storm Peak II Winter Boot - Men's
December 27, 2007
length is good but thick socks seem to bunch the forefoot up a little but i have freakishly wide sasquatch feet that usually use a EE for comfort. O/W good traction on snow and packed snow, a little slick on ice. Hourlong trek in slush about 2"-3"deep resulted in dry feet. the cross strap could use some healthier velcro but only comes off in the brush. Light, comfortable and dry. i have had only about 30 days of use from Davos to the Goose Pond in good old indiana. quite the range for comfort. no loads, snowshoes great.
