I own several pairs of these socks, they are truly excellent at any time of year.

i bought this to replace another one which was torn in an altercation. i was not bummed, because the old one was beat and this gave me an excuse to buy another one. my first one lasted for a year with heavy use and retained it's waterproofing for most of its life span. for the money, it's just really easy to buy a new one when the first one wears out. if i'd had the cash, i would have bought two in separate colors
