K2 Cinch CTL Snowboard Binding
March 27, 2007
Let me explain my title. I researched this binding and heard many great things about it. See, I'm a newbie at snowboarding and I wanted something easy to use. I'm 215lbs and didn't want to sit down every time to strap in. So I got these rear entry bindings. Great for 2 days! Then I noticed that the plastic housing that guides the cable was cracking on the left side and the nylon strap holding the cable in place on the right was tearing. This after only 2 days of riding on the GREEN SLOPES! If K2 can remedy this problem, this could be a real sweet binding! I'm glad I caught these problems before they gave out on me on the slopes. The sad thing was they felt real good, were responsive, and were a breeze to use. Oh well.

Smith Knowledge OTG Goggle
February 6, 2007
Well, I got these goggles for a couple reasons: I have a huge noggin and Smith's lifetime warranty. I use a Giro 10 helmet and these goggles fit very nicely! I've used them on 2 separate trips and I have never fogged! My girl and her Bolle kept complaining that she couldn't see. Sucks for her! Get these Gogs!

Giro G10 Audio Helmet
February 6, 2007
I have a HUGE head so I got the XXL. It fits nicely. On my first trip to the winter wonderland, my left ear got sore form pressure. I gave it another go a few weeks later, and it was fine! Maybe I just had to break it in. The sound is great for music and also talking on the phone. For some reason my auto answer didn't pick up, but that's probably a phone problem. I didn't like the fact that the microphone was located too far down on the cord. I had to take it out about 1 foot and hold it to my mouth as I spoke. I loved the surround sound phone conversations! I recommend this helmet!

Outdoor Research Fraction Vest - Men's
February 6, 2007
That's what people keep telling me. Oh and that the vest looks good too! Actually, this vest rocks! Keeps my trunk warm and it's soft to touch. I was not a big fan of all the ribbing on other vests, that's why I got this. Plus it's not bulky! I do have to admit, my arms are cold when I put these on......wait a minute? I offered it to my girl one time when she was complaining that she was cold, she said no. Sucks for her!

Toastie phalangies!
Hestra Heli Glove
February 6, 2007
Okay...phalangies = fingers! When all my friends were complaining how their fingers were freezing, I was like "I don't know what you guys are talking about, mine are Toastie!" I did get some snow on one of the finger slots from an unfortunate tumble. When I was resting at the lodge between runs, I took out the liner and dried it up in just a few minutes. And back to toastie phalangies! I kept offering them to my girl who kept complaining how cold her hands were, she declined.... sucks for her! These are Highly recommended!
