Great Wool
Icebreaker BodyFit200 Oasis Crew - Men's
March 26, 2007
Wore the Icebreaker Oasis Crew with a heavier weight Icebreaker crew over it for seven days of Heli-skiing in 15 to 25 degree weather. That and a great Gore Tex soft shell from North face were perfect. Wearing another layer on the day I thought it was too cold made me sweat too much. I now wear only wool light layers skiing. It only smells when it gets wet for a few minutes. Definitely unzip vents or in the copter zip down jacket so you do not overheat. Then zip back up when you go out and everything is fine.

Good Gloves
Marmot Ultimate Ski Glove
March 26, 2007
I bought these gloves to go Heli Skiing at Mike Wiegeles. When they arrived, i thought they would be too big to work with. I usually wear Black Diamond work gloves. I wore the Marmot Gloves every day skiing in the rain, deep powder, and crust. The gloves were great. The leashes built into the gloves helped strapping skis together quickly with bare hands and retrieving the gloves quickly. Not so good for taking a leak though. Need to keep gloves out of the way.

Ex Officio Give-N-Go Brief - Men's
March 26, 2007
I wore these briefs on the airplane ride to skiing (8 hours). The next day while visiting my brother before the last leg to the resort. Then wore a different pair for skiing every other day. I did not wear them every day like the ad says. Just could not do it. They are super comfortable, and dry. I did wash them every other day, rather than take a chance and catch a rash.

Great Pants
Arc'teryx Rho LTW Bottom - Men's
March 29, 2006
I wore these five days skiing at Alta in 20 to 35 degree weather under North Face Pants. They kept me dry and comfortable. The boot cut is perfect. They do not get bunched up in ski socks and boots.
