I was looking for an ice climbing boot. This model has quite a bit of flex in the front and is more for 'glacier walking' than front-pointing. So it is in the category of the new Trango S Evos, which are also waterproof and much lighter. So I returned these boots. The SM Expert, which I tried as well, were a lot stiffer. Too bad I didn't order the right size in them while they were still available on sale.

Light, inexpensive, not too big, not too small. I would have preferred a pear shape, but this works well too. I never seem to have enough lockers when setting complex top rope anchors.
