I use this PFD when I go sailing. It offers complete freedom of motion and doesn't get caught up in any of my clothing. The weight of the PFD has yet to exhaust my neck or shoulders, so wearing it for long periods of time has been both safe and pleasurable!

I forgot to mention the kangaroo pocket is very useful for hiding snacks or digi cams.

This is my second piece of down clothing from The North Face. It fits well and looks great.

This jacket has a stylish look, fits great, and weighs nothing. I gave it a test in the windy hills of Japan and came back warm and dry. I can't believe it works so well and is so thin and resistant to the elements. A few of my friends are eyeing my new jacket and have made plans to purchase one as well...I can't understand how anybody would not like this jacket. Hyvent is better then Gore-tex!

I got my Nuptse jacket for the coming cold days in Northern Japan (where I live). I have had to use it a few times since it made the long journey across the ocean and it worked great. The wind didn't really penetrate the fluffy down and the warmth was amazing. The fleece lined pockets and Velcro cuffs are a great touch. The collar rides high on the neck but isn't uncomfortable. My only dislike is how hot I get going into stores with the jacket on.
