Very Comfortable

Salomon Snowtrip II Ski Pant - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 April 8, 2008

These are the most comfortable ski pants I have ever owned. I was skeptical at first about the wind & water proofness, but I could wear these pants in any condition. From cold, snowy, windy days to warm springtime conditions. I never got clammy in these from sweating on warm days and they were warmer than my shell pants on cold days.

Poor Fit

Mountain Hardwear Marymere Sport Tank Top - Women's

Rating for this product: 1 September 18, 2007

The straps on this top were to short causing it to dig into my armpits.

Amost all conditions lenses

Oakley A Frame Goggle Replacement Lenses

Rating for this product: 5 March 5, 2007

I bought these for my husband as a birthday gift. He said they were the best Oakley lenses he has used in all light condtions except for maybe the flatest light conditions. I couldn't even get him to trade for a few runs so I could try them out. Hopefully they will make a polarized lense for the Crowbar soon.

Love It!

Mountain Hardwear Commotion Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 January 23, 2007

This jacket is great for a casual mid-weight jacket. Much better than department store junk! I always have trouble with my long arms & broad shoulders and this jacket actually fits without looking like a big sack.

A hat that fits

Mountain Hardwear Dome Perignon Beanie

Rating for this product: 5 January 8, 2007

I bought this for my husband. He says it is very warm for his size-challenged head. The windproof fabric is a big plus over knits that allow the wind to blow right through. It is the 1st hat he has owned that actually pulls down over his ears.

Finally a brand for tall men

Horny Toad Joe Sweater - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 29, 2006

I have converted my husband to Horny Toad. The sleeves are actually long enough for his 6' 5" frame.

Needs Pockets

Marmot Evolution Half Zip - Long Sleeve - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 November 6, 2006

This is great for running. I like how the N2S blocks the wind wihtout getting clammy like most windbreakers. My only complaint is that there aren't any pockets for my IPod.

Short rise on Talls

Patagonia Powderkeg Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 December 28, 2005

I bought these for my husband who is 6ft 5in. The length was great for a change but the rise was too short and they pulled whenever he sat down or bent his knees. I had to return them.

Blisters

KEEN Taos Hiking Shoe - Women's

Rating for this product: 2 September 13, 2005

These shoes are great as long as I wear socks (but I didn't buy them to wear with socks). When I go without socks I get blisters from the stitching on the heels. They had a good idea with the neoprene at the heel, but something needs to be done about the stitching.
