Great Sleek Fit

Sugoi Stamina Skirt - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 June 14, 2008

This is one of my favorite skirts to do any activity in: Hiking, Running, Walking, Biking. The fit is great in the waist and hip area. The inner short is not to tight, however they can sometimes ride up. The material is soft and can easily snag if you are hiking, yet the softness of the material can feel very luxurious and feminine.

Love it More and More

GoLite Calamity Jane Skirt - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 July 1, 2007

I originally bought one of these skirts, then bought the other 3 colors. I said before this skirt is breathable and non restrictive, but I'd like to add it's also hardy. I've worn this skirt backpacking where I'm hiking through thick brush, sitting on whatever the ground provides and have had my dog with her not so trim nails jump up and drag on this skirt, and it has held up beautifully. Functional, cute and holds up well.

Love the Material

Horny Toad Paige Skirt - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 July 1, 2007

This is such a great material for summer. It's such a lightweight corduroy that has stretch. Therefore, it's fitted without being tight. As much as I love the material, I find it wrinkles easy. But that's okay, it's a casual skirt. If I'm not in my GoLite Calamity Jane skirt working out, then I'm in one of my two Horny Toad Paige Skirts hanging out.

Comfortable and Dry

Vasque Breeze XCR Hiking Boot - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 May 30, 2007

I've had these boots for 3 years and have put many miles on them from pouring rain to dry hot days. I've even enjoyed them winter hiking and they are the boots I use to snowshoe. They are an all around great boot for all conditions. I use them for day hikes and backpacking trips and find them to be extremely comfortable, and amazingly dry. I have completely submerged my foot into streams and puddles and have dry feet. I've never had a blister or a hot spot, and I backpack at about 15 miles per day. These have a roomy toe box, and fit my wide foot well.

GoLite Calamity Jane Skirt - Women's

This is such a light skirt, that is extremely functional as well. I use this skirt to backpack. It does not ride up, and the shorts underneath and extremely comfortable and breathable. I like to wear the skirt for flexibility. It is not restrictive at all. I have now bought all 3 colors.

Perfect for Hiking

Isis Sport Bra - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 June 18, 2006

I hiked in this bra. The material allows for excellent breathability without any chaffing or rubbing. However, I would not do any high impact sports, like running, with this bra for lack of support. I wear a 34C and would prefer something with more support for running, but I wouldn't take any other bra with me on a hike. Non-restricting, dries fast, and has a nice feminine cut.

Breathable, and doesn't ride!

Patagonia Capilene Hipster - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 June 18, 2006

These are so comfortable. They are breathable, and don't ride. They give nice coverage around the rear end, without being unfeminine. The material allows for breathability and stretchability, without any uncomfortable rubbing.

Fits foot without restriction or loosing it's form!

X-Socks Light Trekking Sock - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 June 18, 2006

Just spent 3 days on the trail, and these were the only socks I brought with me. They did get wet during the day from sweat, but no blisters, very comfortable, and dried in 10 minutes in the sun. With these socks, I wouldn't wear a liner sock. These did the job on their own.

Small, hardly noticeable, but Efficient!

CamelBak Day Star - Women's Hydration Pack

Rating for this product: 4 May 1, 2006

This pack is great if you are just going out for a couple of hours. The bladder holds about 2L, but on hot days, I throw in an additional liter (Nalgene bottle). This hydration pack is large enough to hold some snacks, maps, the extra Nalgene bottle, but not much more, so for longer days you may need a larger pack. The design allows you to get the pack snug to the body so it doesn't bounce around. I don't even feel like I'm carrying a pack with this. This is my favorite choice for a quick 2-3 hour hike!
