Dynastar Legend Pro Plus XXL Alpine Ski

These big skis rock for a big guy who skis fast with authority. Don't bother if you're just mincing around or tentative in any way. They reward form and a driving point 'em attitude. They kill crud, float superb in powder. They are totally stable big-arc carvers on softer groomers but with 109 underfoot and a giant radius they're best in the soft. They'll bank and wash around as commanded as long as you're in the driver's seat, and so are surprisingly nimble for a big ski in the trees or bumps, due to this ability to be washed without carving. Comfortable and stable at speed in any conditions, Downside is they're HEAVY for toting on your back or for hardcore AT hiking, but worth it on the way back down. I like these skis.
