Mountain Hardwear P5 fleece jacket
Mountain Hardwear P5 Fleece Jacket - Women's
April 24, 2007
I liked the jacket. The color was great. I liked the pit zips and wrist warmers. The jacket was just about 2 inches too long for me. I am 5' 3".

Patagonia R2 fleece jacket
Patagonia R2 Fleece Jacket - Women's

I didn't like the fabric as much as I thought I would. It was a nice weight. I was hoping the color was more of a cobalt blue. I was looking for a more relaxed fit.

Keen's Rock
KEEN Targhee Light Hiker - Women's
September 6, 2005
I love shoes. I pamper my feet with good fitting shoes. I cycle, run, xc ski and hike. I own a pair of Keen Providence shoes for work and the Newport H20 sandals for play. When I saw the Targhee’s I had to give them a try. They are comfy right out of the box. My first hike in them was at Mt. Theilson near Crater Lake in Oregon. It was about an 8 mile round trip hike with over 3000ft in elevation gain with a scramble near the top. The shoes performed well on the way up and down. I did not get any blisters. I wore Smartwool light hiking socks with cushioned insoles. The socks maintained a good temperature and my feet were not uncomfortably hot or too sweaty. The soles are very grippy and stable and cushiony. The toe box has lots of room and the toe bumper helped control stubs and bumps. Very little dirt got in the shoe. This is a great shoe.
