Easy to stow gear and seal with confidence. Sturdy construction. Stands upright making retrieving gear easier. I did not need the semi-transparent version for the extra dough; it was easy enough to locate gear in the 40 - 2400cu in model I have.

It kept a phone, digital camera and sunglasses dry, safe and sound. Easy buckle mechanism to aid in getting at stored items quickly (e.g. to get that perfect pic) yet really sturdy. The inner foam lining is smart as it keeps stuff from rattling around and absorbs a degree of shock when I dropped it against the hull. I would prefer its clip to be a mountaineering flavor d-ring type but that's a minor point.

Great combo of comfort and functionality. Pockets well thought out and executed to hold the stuff you want / need handy. The heavy-duty zipper gives confidence it will last lifetime of the jacket. The fit can be tailored to snug or extra snug with no trouble. I'm 5' 9" 170 lb, moderate athletic build and Medium size fits perfectly.
