is it a jacket or a fleece?
The North Face Denali Thermal Jacket - Women's
November 9, 2005
The Denali Thermal jacket is like the regular Denali fleece on steroids. This fleece is so warm that I couldn't imagine pairing it up under a jacket unless NJ was experiencing sub-zero temperatures. The snug fit is not only flattering but it helps keep you warmer. But the most attractive quality about this jacket has to be its feel. It's silky soft and it stays that way even after the first washing. Only when I'm at my coldest do I whip out this fleece but it delivers every time. (PS: It packs really well, too.)

Keeps me hydrated!
CamelBak Rogue Hydration Backpack - 2.1L
October 17, 2005
Originally my boyfriend purchased this jacket for the ski slopes. I found myself using his so much that I went out and purchased one. This thing is great no matter what the outdoor activity! It's not too heavy and it's relatively easy to clean. It also has pockets that can hold smaller items such as cell phones and sunglasses. Finally, I'll never have to carry around my Nalgene on hikes!

Great water bottle.
Nalgene Lexan Wide Mouth Water Bottle - 32oz
October 17, 2005
I used to carry around this water bottle with me wherever I went. It's definitely durable and it fits nicely in my backpack's outside water bottle compartments. My only gripe about this water bottle is that it's difficult to clean. I used to throw it in the dishwasher to clean it but noticed that there was still a thin film left behind. The only way to get this film off was to use a sponge, which is difficult considering the size of the opening. I'm a clean freak and in the end I just gave up on my Nalgene. But I still use it for multiple day treks.

Great hiking pant!
The North Face Paramount Porter Convertible Pant - Women's
October 17, 2005
I'm 5ft 9in and I ordered the long version. They were plenty long! The pant, however, does run small in size. I'm normally a size 6 to 8 and I ordered a size 12! They seemed really stiff at first but after hiking around in them I was able to maneuver more freely. I love that you can zip off the pant bottom and they're made of a durable material. I know these pants will last me a really long time.

The perfect rain jacket!
The North Face Venture Jacket - Women's
October 17, 2005
I originally bought this jacket for my trip to Peru. I was pleased to find that my Denali fleece fit underneath the jacket, just in case I encountered cold rain. It's most definitely waterproof and really durable! I was recently in a flood area and was outside a lot during the torrential rains wearing nothing but this jacket. It kept me warm and dry throughout the whole ordeal. Now my boyfriend is looking to purchase one. I love it (and all other North Face products)!

Warm and stylish!
The North Face Gotham Jacket - Women's
October 17, 2005
I bought this jacket because I needed something that was cute and stylish but also kept me warm. The hood is also very big (and down insulated) so it more than covers my head. I particularly appreciated that because it always keeps my head dry when it's snowing. However, I would not use it as a ski jacket. The cloth around the wrists and waist would get too wet when skiing. Plus, the jacket doesn't come far enough down to cover the bum in case you get cold real easy. Overall, if you want warmth and style this is the jacket to go for.

The Denali just got better!
The North Face Denali Thermal Jacket - Women's
October 17, 2005
I’ve owned 2 Denali fleece jackets before I bought this Denali Thermal Jacket. It's even warmer than the regular Denali. I prefer it to the regular Denali because the fleece material is softer and it fits more snug. Don't worry, though, whatever size you are in the regular Denali will also be your size in the Denali Thermal jacket.

A+++
The North Face Denali Jacket - Women's
July 13, 2005
I live in these fleece jackets. Who knew that a fleece could keep you warmer than many jackets out there on the market? I lived out in Colorado for 4.5 years and only on the coldest days could I wear this fleece under my ski jacket. Otherwise I'd melt on the ski slopes. It also kept me warm in the Andes Mts. in Peru. I will take this thing with me wherever I go; and I will always own one for the rest of my life.
