Mountainsmith Ghost Backpack - 2800cu in

Rating for this product: 5 August 28, 2005

This pack is comfortable, it doesn't get hot and sweaty round the straps (in Texas) and is BIG. One big compartment provides for easy packing and unpacking. I lashed my axe on easily; everything fits for weekend excursion.

Five Ten Anasazi VCS C4 Sole Climbing Shoe

Rating for this product: 5 July 20, 2005

I'm new to climbing but these shoes worked out great. I was hesitant to trust em on the wall but they were solid.

It works...

Black Diamond Chalk Bag

Rating for this product: 3 July 20, 2005

The bag works great, it holds chalk and keeps it from going everywhere; however, the cord to hold it on has to be tied every time you use it. Slightly inconvenient.

prAna Titan Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 July 3, 2005

This was my first investment in prAna clothing and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised in the comfort and quality of this product. They make for comfortable climbs and dry in under an hour. My only qualm is that they aren't made in the United States.

Patagonia Island Hopper Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 July 3, 2005

Awesome lightweight pants; they dry in less than an hour in direct sunlight. However, if you sweat profusely they become slightly see thru so then you have to go stand in the sun. Bummer.

Big Shot... Kinda

The North Face Big Shot Backpack - 2100 cu in

Rating for this product: 2 July 3, 2005

The pack is fairly comfortable for regular loads, but if you load it up the padding seems to disappear. Also, I’m not diggin the one big compartment; it fit two books, a laptop and some clothing quite awkwardly. Overall, I did not feel like I got my money's worth; an aberration for TNF gear.
