The North Face Arnuva 100 Trail Running Shoe - Men's
March 7, 2008
At first I was excited by the shoe, ample cushioning, a lighter feeling than most trail runners, and plenty of publicity (including the self promoted ultra marathon man) however after about 10-15 miles, my feet became very sore. There is not much underfoot protection for rockier trails, and the heel has extremely skimpy padding that caused severe blistering (and eventually wore a hole in the fabric, causing a plastic piece to extrude from the shoe and further rub my heel.) Therefore, these shoes have been relegated to more benign activities such as mowing the lawn....I will stick with my bomber Montrails when it comes to running on trails.
