Nice features

I love the vents, liner, and the chamois is nice. Fabric is nice and breathable, but it tore in my first wreck while wearing them. :( The fit is also not quite right for women with curves. The waist is big, hips are small (what I'd expect wearing a guys short). Size seems to run a bit small overall and they probably would best fit women who aren't particularly curvy. But I love the pockets and features - I wish I could find the same short with a cut that fit me better. I'd definitely stick to using them more for XC use since they're not incredibly durable, but they are comfortable for XC. |

Perfecting the basics

I've used this jacket for about 20 ski days so far (mostly resort skiing and a couple of touring days). It's very lightweight, perfect for touring, and has just the very basic features, but the fit and function are ideal. The hood works very well over a helmet - keeping you warm without limiting visibility or movement. Cuffs, sealed seams, and zippers, etc. are all just right - as you'd expect from Arc'teryx. It's light enough for the warmest ski days and I can just add layers the colder it gets. And I really love the blue color. ;) |

Nice!

I bought these for my husband - he always has problems with fogging goggles and Smith Turbo Fan goggles are the only solution that works for him on storm days. With the sensor mirror lenses, he's mentioned that they let in too much light for bright days, but they're excellent for storm days, so it's a good combination with the anti-fog fan. Excellent quality optics, as usual. |

my favorites

My only complaint is that I love these things so much I need to buy more or do laundry every day... Very comfortable and supportive. I've worn them about 15 or so ski days so far, and they help my legs to feel good, and are reasonably warm. I still wear another layer or two when it's really cold, but they're just right for average ski weather. |

good design

I bought these for skiing - I always have cold hands and was hoping they'd help. The long gaiters on the wrists do help keep the wind out - and they're thoughtfully built to be able to adjust easily. They're a little bit bulky to deal with ski pole straps, but not too bad. And so far they seem well built and durable. Unfortunately, my hands still get cold. They do accommodate disposable heater packs nicely though, so they're working fine. I think I have Reynauds syndrome causing my cold hand problems though, so I think these would be VERY warm for the average person. |

supportive but not 100% comfortable

It is very supportive and fits well, but when I've worn it all day for skiing, the mesh portion irritates my skin. But it's great for shorter things like trips to the gym, etc. |
