cool hat
The North Face Class V Hat
March 4, 2007
This hat came free with a pair of shoes. I love it so much I just ordered a second one. I wear it playing tennis, running and doing anything that will get me sweaty. It does not absorb sweat, so I can just wear it over and over without it getting disgusting. Also I wear it when I go out in the rain. It gives me a little rain block. I did rip my first one, but as I recall it was from extreme abuse.

nice jacket
The North Face Hydrenalite Jacket - Men's
May 7, 2005
This jacket is very light weight and breathable. It is perfect for biking or running when I really do not want to add much warmth, but want to block the wind. It ran a little large for me. I bought a medium, but a small might have been better. I have not tested the water resistance yet, but it is nice to have. There is no hood. That's ok as I wear a hat, and this does not seem to be designed to protect in more than a light rain anyway.

fits the bill
The North Face Class V Hat
May 7, 2005
This is a nice waterproof hat that has already stood up to a lot of abuse. It does not soak up the sweat so I can wear it running and it still looks good afterwards. I got this hat as a thowin on a pair of shoes, but now I really love it and it is well worth buying.

Nice Shoe
The North Face Ultra Gore-Tex XCR Trail Running Shoe - Men's
March 24, 2005
I bought these because of the waterproof feature, but now I wear them all of the time. They are very comfortable, breathe very well and give excellent cushion while running. I am overweight and my knees and ankles feel fine after a run. They do run small. I am a 7 1/2, (sometimes even a 7) and I bought 8 and they may be a little tight in the toe box. I just bought a second pair and bought 8 1/2. I hope they fit well because the 8's are tight on the width in front (not a normal problem for me) but not real snug in the heal. Still a great shoe that I can strongly recommend.
