Granite Gear Stuff Sac

A solid stuff sac. Used on self support overnighters (WWkayak). Light yet durable and seam taped. There is no roll top closure, but seems to work well if compressed tight. I did use this in conjunction with a Watershed Futa Dry Bag. When keeping gear dry matters most, better double up. |

Exped Down Short 7

I have been sleeping on inflatable mattresses for over ten years. This is by far the most comfortable yet. Now a couple issues. The "pump-pillow" stuff sack is a good idea, but the pumping does take some time (5 min). It can look a little silly too. But is worth it if the R factor is important. My wife is using a primaloft Big Agnes Pad. Very comparable, and in some ways more user friendly. Which will prove more durable? The Exped has so far done well on stony ground (care was used), and should stand the test of time. |
