Mad rock rocks

Mad Rock Flash Climbing Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 July 18, 2006

For the money, these are great shoes. They are great for bouldering sessions, they are pretty comfy, and they have a decent amount of sensitivity. They aren't as sensitive as my Stingers, but they cost half as much. Great gym shoe, good all-around shoe.

Atomic SX:B5 Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 April 4, 2006

I liked 'em so much I bought 'em and took them out to Steamboat for a trip during week of Christmas. I had the chance to see some deeper snow through the trees and the skis performed very well. I stalled a few times in the deep stuff, but that was mainly my fault. not only are they fast and steady, they float pretty well too.

Fast, Stable, Did I Say Fast?

Atomic SX:B5 Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 February 7, 2005

What a ski. This ski just takes off and hangs on. They deliver a smooth ride, and they grip to anything. I just skied them yesterday (2/6/2005) in New York - with the fantastic conditions the East can only deliver - icy in the morning, a few runs of decent snow which eventually turn to slush in the early afternoon, and then back to good ol' eastern frozen crud/crap/ice/granular. These skis held on every steep/skied-off icy section I could find. They also faired well in the bumps, you just have to throw your weight around - because they are heavy - and I mean heavy. If you like to cruise fast with the occasional venture into some quicker, steeper stuff - give these skis a demo ride - I didn't want to take them off my feet.
