Mountain Hardwear Monkey Woman Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 3 March 10, 2008

It fits great and is super comfy and soft. First complaint, it attracts hair like the bujesus and because of that nappy knit hair gets stuck in the weave and does not come out, even with washing. Second complaint, is that it is not super durable. I have had mine for about 5 months, the seams are coming apart and you can see the wear on the elbows and back. If I had it to do over again I would just have purchased the Arc'teryx Covert.

Spendy, but worth it

Patagonia R1 Flash Pullover - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 March 10, 2008

Great layering piece, it works well layered under a ski jacket or over a tee on a spring bike ride. The outside is durable poly, but the inside is soft fleece. It is very fitted, if you plan to put anything underneath it, I would bump up a size.

More TNF crap

The North Face Salathe Fleece Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 1 March 10, 2008

Fits like a box and is over sized. Didn't even have mine for a year before it started to wear out. You are better off saving your money and buying something from Mountain Hardwear or Arc'teryx.

Arc'teryx Covert Hoody Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 March 10, 2008

This is hands-down my favorite fleece jacket. It is great for laying under jackets while skiing in bounds and it does not attract hair like most fleeces. Normally I wear an XS, but I had to size up to a Small.

Loves it!

MontBell America, Inc. Alpine Light Down Parka - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 March 10, 2008

For sure not a stand alone, go ice climbing in Ouray jacket. I mostly use it for kickin' around town and spring hiking. It would work well layered under a shell except for the fact that the hood gets in the way. It is true to size, but cut sorter in the torso, it hits about 3 inches below the top of my hip.

Not so hot

Icebreaker BodyFit200 Legless Bottoms - Women's

Rating for this product: 2 March 10, 2008

Love the quality, hate the fit¦I am 5'1 and the waist on these went 2 inches past my bellybutton. If the rise on these were lower, I would still have them.

Sweet!

Icebreaker Bodyfit Long-Sleeve Crew - Womens

Rating for this product: 5 January 5, 2006

Best under layer I have found yet. After three days of snowboarding, this shirt smelled nowhere near as bad as my synthetics do. It also did not fit like a potato sack, as some under-layers do. It fit the shape of my body, but was not restrictive, and it was also long enough to tuck in.

Flashpoint Zip Pullover

Marmot Flashpoint Zip Pullover - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 May 12, 2005

The pullover is super soft and surprisingly thin for a fleece jacket, but really warm. Don’t be fooled by the picture the Black/Quarry is a really dark black not grey. It is great layering piece.
