Under Armour Heatgear Loose T-Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Men's

April 29, 2008

As long as there is a slight breeze, yes. They do, however excell at keeping the sun from cooking you directly (although not totally, so wear sunscreen).

Feels heavyweight without being bulky...

Merrell Big Sky Fleece Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 April 2, 2008

Just got this in today and after wearing around for a couple hours, I can say this jacket is going to replace a LOT of my under-jacket liners and even a few light to medium weight jackets. The liner is extremely soft and the chin guard is made to not snag my beard (a rarity and a plus). It's toasty without being too much for around town. It also makes a great liner under my riding jacket, especially nice when riding around in forty degree weather. This thing does it all. JC

CRKT M18-14 Knife

CRKT M18-14 Combo Blade Knife

Rating for this product: 5 March 14, 2008

Nice knife with great balance. The clip makes the knife easy to attach and remove unlike other CRKT knives I have (, their texture was too rough to allow easy removal). The blade opens smoothly and the lock feature is simple to operate one-handed. The side panel opposite the belt clip has a nice roughened surface to help keep the knife in-hand when cutting tough objects. I also like the half-guard incorporated into the blade to ensure fingers don't slip onto the blade and cause a nasty cut. Overall, a very nicely designed knife I'm glad to add to my tool-box. One suggestion, when you get a knife like this with a lot of little screws, you might want to remove the screws (one at a time) and put a bit of medium grade locking compound on them to make sure the knife won't become loose over time. Nice and comfy...

injinji Comfort Crew Socks

Rating for this product: 1 January 26, 2008

These soxks felt strange at first, but didn't take long to appreciate the comfort of having my toes slightly seperated. Thia makes walking around a LOT more comfortable even when worn with work boots. Highly recommend these for people hiking and/or on their feet for long periods of time. JC

Snow Peak Titanium Spork

Rating for this product: 5 December 27, 2007

Yep, that's right, someone thought it was as cool as I did. The year+ I had this it was great for EVERYTHING and to piggy-back off "Platygirl," You could probably use this to take down a bear. Gonna add one to todays order to replace the one that got away. If you like light-weight and totally functional tools/utensils, then get one today. JC

Salomon Mega Trek 6 LTR Boot - Men's

Great boots, very lightweight. Only had them for a few weeks, but I'm seriously considering ordering another pair. I'd highly recommend these for anyone looking for a light and very comfortable boot.
