Excellent jacket

Marmot Oracle Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 March 21, 2007

I have either the 2005 or 2006 version, and I know the 2007 has one upgrade in particular which is fuzzy lining around the collar and I think the sleeves. There are probably dozens of jackets on the market that are similar, but I chose this one because it was well priced, and few jackets have a tuck-away hood like the Oracle. I've always liked this feature because there's not point in putting a hood on that's already filled up with water. The light weight and breathability are, as advertised, very good. I have definitely been in very wet conditions while wearing this jacket (most notably a rainy week in Alaska on a cruise) and it performed very well.

Cool little tool

Smith Snow Eraser

The chamois side is a bit more useful than the foam side... all in all, a nice little tool to keep your goggles clean.
