wore them the whole time on our trip to the Ice Hotel and in the city of Quebec City, Canada with a pair of SmartWool lightweight longjohns and they kept my legs comfortably warm and protected from the single digits, heavy winds, and snow blizzard we encountered. Waist sizing was about 1/2" smaller than typical pants of that same size (32") but made my butt look nice according to my wife.

i loved it because it was so lightweight and warm, but hated it because one of the 2 outer materials (the one that runs down your shoulders) attracts so much dust, hair, and animal fur that it drove me crazy.

I wore them under a pair of North Face insulated pants while staying over at the Ice Hotel in Quebec City and also for 2 days in the city where the lows were in the teens and my legs were warm and comfortable. They are so soft and not itchy at all. Very lightweight. I will always wear them on cold days.

I loved my Crierium so much, I bought a 2nd one immediately! It's so easy to mount and dismount a bike from it. Holds the bike securely. One key to lock bike to carrier and carrier to car.
