Exped DownMat Sleeping Pad
May 9, 2007
Well, I haven't actually tested the sleep pad out in the woods yet, that is coming in three weeks. I did test it on the living room floor and it was great. I wish it came with instructions though, as it took me quite a while to figure out how to inflate it!! I am new to camping and this was definitely designed for someone who has done this before. It is very compact when rolled up and doesn't take up much space.

Not bad for the price
The North Face Adrenaline Gore-Tex XCR Mid Hiking Shoe - Women's
May 9, 2007
The shoes have good support and are pretty comfortable. They are also roomy which is good because a lot of The North Face shoes run small. I ordered a half size up to make sure there is room for thick socks and foot swelling, and there is plenty of room. My only complaint is they are a weird height. They hit right at the tibia and rub on the bone which is annoying until you get used to it. They should be taller and completely cover the ankle to best avoid ankle rolling on rocky hikes. I thought they were going to be taller based on the picture. Otherwise they are nice shoes, though I like my Columbia's from last year better.-

The North Face Sparta Running Shoe - Womens

These shoes gave me blisters on the insides of my heals the first time I wore them, but they have been really wonderful since them. Very comfortable. They are stable but also flexible.
