Great Dexterity and Comfort
Cloudveil Ice Floe Glove - Unisex
March 27, 2005
Used these several time for warm weather ice climbing and skiing - great feeling and dexterity from the gloves. Would have liked to see better waterproofing (these things suck up the water and will not keep you dry), so I coated with some of Nikwax's silicone spray and they improved in their waterproofness. Overall a great mild weather glove.

Arc'teryx Hardface Glove - Unisex
March 5, 2005
Just like the other 10 Capilene items I own, it does the job of providing warmth and dryness extremely well.

Arc'teryx Isis Harness - Women's
August 29, 2004
Many days of gym usage have proved the harness's comfort. Features like the detachable leg loops have proven themselves useful when in the woods. Fantastic quality as usual from Arcteryx. (reported by Sophia)

Better in Every Way
Black Diamond ATC-XP
August 25, 2004
Just as solid as the standard ATC, the ATC XP is great for weaker belayers, for more control, or for lazy belays. Repels and belays just as well as the standard ATC. Bomber.

Great Pack!
Osprey Packs Ceres 38 Backpack - 2300 cu in
April 13, 2004
Just bought this pack as a day-trekking pack for some light mountaineering and resort skiing for a month in British Columbia. Pack expanded well to hold gear and skis on the morning walks up Flute, Picolo. Strap system is intimidating at first, but becomes immensely helpful in restricting movement while lightly loaded. Annoying that only top pocket and main pack are loadable (Would like an additional small pocket elsewhere). Gear loops were not the best design. Overall a very capable pack that I'm looking forward to hitting the rocks with later this year - I'm expecting it to perform adeptly.
