I got this to replace my soft shell, which wasn't warm enough for me. I would have to have too many layers making it difficult to move around. But this jacket keeps me nice and toasty with just 1 layer underneath, even in 15 deg weather. But it is comfy with 2 layers as well, even a thicker fleece under. It keeps me dry as well, even when I tumble down a run instead of skiing down. Lots of pockets (on both sides). And being able coordinate colors with ski pants is an added bonus! Fits true to size. Recommend highly.

These pants are ok. At first, I liked them and then I didn't and know I am back to liking them. I like the gaiter, very easy to get ski boots and snow boots on and off. They are a bit on the snug side as far as fit goes. So putting on a lightweight pant sometimes isn't an option. I think overall these pants pretty good for the price. Definitely keep me dry and mostly warm...
