Reef Stuyak Sandal - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 August 9, 2008

i bought these sandals just to wear around, but mainly because the other two pairs i had were terrible. one pair was too heavy, and the other pair was too torn up. i was kinda nervous about buying "cheaper" reefs, but of all of the reef sandals i've owned, these are by far the best. they're light and comfy, unlike some of reef's other products, which are heavy and cumbersome. great, well-made sandal, and well worth the money. one last thing. if you are a half-sizer, order UP, not DOWN. for example, i wear a size 9.5, and ordered a 10, and they fit perfectly.

KEEN Venice H2 Sandal - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 August 9, 2008

i just bought these keens, and they were great! i used them stream-fishing in montana, hiking, and just all around outdoors. they're easy to clean, and they're really durable. they work great on riverbottoms, and grip even on the slippery stuff. Andeha: it would be wise to size up. i wear a 9.5 and bought a 10, and they worked fine. they fit great, and either way, if they're a little big, you can cinch 'em up...

Backcountry.com The Goat Organic Cotton T-Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 July 12, 2008

just bought this and the backcountry longsleeve shirt, and I must say i've heard good things about both. i'm headed up to montana in a week, so we'll see how they fare in the weather up there. from what i've heard they should work great! i was in desparate need of some good, comfortable t-shirts, so i picked up a few, including an oakley one from backcountry. also a pair of sandals and keens, so i've got my money's worth out of this site for the summer! (or the other way around...)

Spy Orbit Goggle

Spy Orbit Goggle

Rating for this product: 5 February 20, 2007

These goggles are awesome! I have used them for nearly a month now, and there haven't been any problems. The venting system designed by Spy is one of the best out there, and my experience with them would have to agree. Unless you get snow inside them, they will never fog up!! The lenses are scratch-free so there is no need to worry about visual quality, ever! These goggles are top of the line and definitely worth the money, and you'll look awesome, too!

Epsilon SV Jacket

Arc'teryx Epsilon SV Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 20, 2007

This jacket was awesome! At first, I was a bit hesitant to buy it because it seemed like a lower-quality jacket than most Arc'teryx pieces. It is anything but that. I spent five days skiing in Breck, Colorado, three of which the temperature was below zero, and the wind was blowing at 40-50 mph up top. But this jacket (and a couple of extra layers)kept me warm, blocked the wind very well, and repelled water wonderfully. One minor complaint would be that the cuffs are elastic, and even if the jacket fits you perfectly, it is difficult to get your hands, especially when gloved, through.
