My name is Eric Harrison, but most folks call me EZ. I have been climbing for about thirteen years. I climb trad, sport, but I mostly boulder. I love the purity of bouldering, the power, and the convenience. Work hard, play hard, that's how I see it.

great cause, great shoe

Evolv Hera Rock Climbing Shoe - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 August 15, 2008

This women's specific shoe is a high performance shoe with a stiff mid-sole. The heal area is a bit deeper than the Electra, but just as narrow. The perforated synthetic allows for more breath-ability. I like to think that this shoe is for anyone with a narrow foot, male or female. I love that this shoe also has meaning. Who wouldn't want to help others battle cancer.

Stryker

Evolv Stryker Approach Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 July 7, 2008

I have had a few approach shoes in my time and the Stryker is my favorite so far. I put some "super feet" arch supports in them and DAMN they are comfy. I live in the Boulder Colorado area which has some pretty burly approaches. I mainly boulder, so hikes to Mt. Evans, Rocky Mountain National Park and front range areas tend to be long, steep and rocky. These babies have been able to handle snow pack, mud, talus and the occasional bar. They look cool and can handle anything in my opinion.

Pontas

Evolv Pontas Climbing Shoe

Rating for this product: 5 July 7, 2008

I love where the Kaos has come to be. The Pontas is the re-vamped Kaos with all the sensitivity and toughness Chris has helped it become. This shoe has evolved so to speak, into a wonderful all around high performance shoe. I have had many pairs of these bad boys and have sent my hardest boulder problems in these kicks. The heel fits like a glove. The rubber has always been sticky enough to perform bicycle moves on rooves as well as top out on sketchy slab. One of my favorite Evolv shoes for sure.
