Pretty but not very functional
DAKINE Deluxe Tune Tuning Kit
August 23, 2008
This would be best for a beginner tuner without very specific tuning needs but beware, you'll need additional supplies. You would still have to buy an iron to heat up your wax and stones of different grits for proper deburring. The bevel tool only allows for angles of 0 OR 2 degrees, which may not be fine enough for skiers/riders who want edge bevels somewhere in between or >2.

Petzl Attache Locking Carabiner
July 10, 2008
One of my climbing instructors recommended these biners by name. The lock spins open and closed easily so that you can do it with one spin of the finger. This can be good or bad: if you're afraid rope friction might open it, it's a bad thing, however, I find it very convenient.
