These poles work great, I love the "flick-lock" system. One thing to note is that this material is rust resistant, so you don't have to worry about conditioning them after a hike. I got back from a hike and thought I should rub them down with WD-40 to prevent rust but was later told that aluminum doesn't rust it only oxidizes, which is a non-issue.

I was very pleased with the new camelbak, but in retrospect I should have gone with a bigger size. 50 oz seemed like plenty at the time, especially because I wanted to save a dollar or two. I would buy the biggest size available if I could do it over again! If you're worried about the weight, just don't fill it as full.
