Don't play in mud puddles!!
Danner Exo Edge DXTVent Hiking Shoe - Men's
July 2, 2008
I have had four disc's removed & my lower spine fused. Needless to say i have been through a lot of pain over the years. One Thing i could not be without , despite the pain , was enjoying "The Great Outdoors" of North-Eastern Michigan. I love to hunt ,camp ,fish and backpack/hike through-out the Northern Forests. One of the most important and vital pieces of equipment for me to have on my wanderings is a good , strong and light-weight pair of boots or shoes. I finally found my trail mates in the "Danner exo-vent" line of shoes and boots. I bought the ones that were not water-proof on purpose , because i wanted the lightest pair i could find. The Exo-vent did not disappoint me. They are so light that the only way you know they are on , is because your feet feel so comfortable. They are also built tough and handle the rolling Michigan terrain like a boot of thrice the weight. The venting system works hard at keeping your feet nice and dry , even after miles of hiking. Just avoid jumping into mud puddles , because your feet will get wet , and fast. "Danner" has a water-proof "Exo-vent" for those folks who don't mind a couple of extra ounces of weight.

Great comfortable shoe/Lightest shoe i have ever wore/ My only complaint is that they seemed rather tight..they came in "D" width.--the reason i write in past tense is because i only wore them twice -& then they vanished--maybe stolen. I was so impressed w/ the shoes lightweight, Rugged craftmanship that i was gonna buy another pair--but this time they are not on sale, so for an extra $20.00 im gonna purchase "The Exvent hiking boot"...A half size bigger....---God works in Mysterious & sometimes expensive ways!!--to make myself feel better ill just think of them as "A worth- while pair of $200.00 boots.--.--lol.
