Unfortunately the "short" version were just a tad too long causing lots of mud to accumulate during the hike. Also, I bought them a size larger and yet they tend to run small in the thigh area. However, they are light weight and did well in the rain.

I generally tend to get blisters, but even after a 3 day 40 mile hike, no blisters!!! These socks are great in wet or dry (it rained one day during the hike).
