Good running pack
Lafuma Active 30 Backpack - 1900cu in
June 3, 2008
I was looking for a pack that would stay on still when running, and the MCS (Motion Control System) supplies an extra set of straps in the middle so when it is pulled, it would cinch the outer edges of the load towards your back. It is not 100% perfect, but better than anything I've seen so far. It's light, more room than I need. One issue goes back to overabundance of space. The 1900 cubic in. is a lot of space, but it is really suited for almost lightweight materials. Anything heavier, and the straps, which are as wide as a standard school pack, will dig into your shoulders. I've had moments where my shoulders would be a bit sore. But I was also carrying a lot of water (In addition to the Platypus). Over all, I love this bag and would recommend anyone for it who would like to run a pack (trail runners, hikers, run/commuters).
