Granite Gear Kitchen Sink - 2 Gallons
June 29, 2008
I could see how this might be a luxurious addition to a backpacking trip, especially for a group, as it is quite light and packable. I bought it specifically for canoe camping, where weight and space are less of an issue, and I am disappointed with the lightweight construction. The walls are flimsy and collapse too easily, especially once the material gets soaked. Also the liner fabric tends to bunch and collect food particles when I dump my graywater. I previously owned a similar product made of a stiffer pvc type material (like some dry bags), whose performance was far superior to the granite gear sink. If weight is not your primary concern, keep shopping.
