Spend the money. They will last 2-3 times as long as the ones made in China and your feet will be more comfortable the whole time. You are paying less more more. The only thing to keep in mind is the insole really is just a throw away, you will probably have to buy a nice insert especially if you need any arch support. Overall it is the best shoe.
