This jacket rocks! Always stayed dry in it even in the biggest downpours. Breathes like it's alive, and will compress into just about any size u want it to. The weight of this jacket won't break your back after a couple days on the trail either. If you're looking for a waterproof shell this is it!

Therm-a-Rest ProLite 4 Sleeping Pad

The price is worth it especially if you do alot of winter backpacking. Breaking out this mattress in your tent when its about -5 out is awesome, there is so much space between you and the cold ground. The other really nice things about it are its compressibility, and durability. If your looking for a new pad this is the way to go. Wouldn't go into the woods without it.

THE BEST FILTER ON THE MARKET!!!!
Katadyn Pocket Water Microfilter

All of my friends have different models than me such as: the MSR mini works, hiker, water works, and the katadyn mini. Everytime we go out they MAKE me bring mine. It is the most bombproof filter I have ever seen all aluminum construction, new and improved handle, and insane filter life!!! I would have to say the output on this filter is the best I have seen I can fill up a three liter hydromina bag in about 10 min. I would recommend this filter to anyone.
