WARM AND TOASTY

Marmot Randonnee Glove

Rating for this product: 4 February 26, 2008

I bought these to replace my Kombi gloves that I've had for 10 years. My main concern was warmth and dexterity. Because of the gauntlet, they were bulkier than my previous gloves, but the dexterity was better than my old gloves. I bought them last month and have only used them twice so far, both times in great weather. Because the days I skied were warm, the gloves have not been truly tested. However, my hands were warm and dry all day. I trust the Gore-Tex and PrimaLoft will prove their worth in stromy weather. My only wish was that they had a little more dexterity and I may have been better ordering a Medium rather than a Large (my hand's girth measured right between the size range for Medium & Large).

FAVORITE JACKET

Helly Hansen Paramount Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 26, 2008

I have never owned a Helly Hansen garment before, and am very impressed. I bought this jacket blindly, not seeing it in person before. It is now one of my favorite jackets. Its slim-fitting and made of top materials. I love the sealed seams and can't feel any wind, even on the worst days. Because it is slim-fitted, its not so easy to take on or off, but once on, this thing wears like your favorite glove.
