I purchased this beanie because of the rating and cool retro look, if only i could vote 6 stars! perfect beanie, made of wool but a comfy fleece lining (around forehead, ears, back of head) keeps the itchy wool off your skin, this beanie is NOT itchy, extremely warm and snug fit! tested it last weekend in -55 degree snow storm here in north dakota, felt nothing, while my friends were running for cover! only flaw...thick lining makes hearing tough at times!

In my opinion the best multi-purpose on the market. Insulation is AMAZING for how light the jacket is. Not a bulky feeling like most insulation jackets. Take it anywhere, snowshoeing, boarding, skiing, to a party or the movies...THE BEST! Fits into day packs with ease! Im 5'10" 165lbs and bought a medium and still have room to add the right base layer to deal with certain conditions! If you like to stay dry, keep blistering wind off your skin and cozy on the slopes, YOU CANT GO WRONG WITH THIS JACKET...i just cant say enough!!!
