Great winter hiking jacket!
The North Face Sentinel WindStopper Jacket - Men's
April 25, 2008
I actually like this jacket so much I bought it twice. I foolishly left the first one on a summit after a long winter ascent and didn't realize I didn't have it until i was almost back to the car. I went back a few days later, but the jacket was gone, so i had to order another, as I never had one I liked as well. The thing I like so much is that it really is a wind stopper, like dead stop, but it doesn't hold heat in. My hiking parters have to stop and shed clothes. I wear one layer and a vest under this jacket and don't get overheated or cold when I am hiking. When you stop you have to add a warm layer, because this jacket has little bulk. But when you're moving, it's fabulous.
