The Spyder gear is definitely at the high end of the price range for children's ski wear. Tis jacket has very good features incl. a full hood (so that it is useful off the slopes, on snowy walks to school) good pockets and vents. We do not tend to use most of the high end ski features yet, but it is a very attractive looking coat that is warm and dry.

These pants were a great price -- it almost scared us off because it was much lower than other high end pants. They have been great-- warm enough for very cold ski days, they keep my active son warm and dry. The size (we bought the 10/12) is roomy enough for my big 6 year old to wear next season but not too long. Good ability to adjust the waist and roomy enough for somebody who would normally wear an 8 but needs extra tummy room.
