Great for basic use

Princeton Tec Aurora Headlamp

Rating for this product: 4 June 16, 2008

My wife bought me this headlamp two years ago and it has performed excellently. It is very lightweight and tilt adjustable. I pretty much only use the high beam setting, and battery life has been excellent. I use this thing everywhere: working on my old Bronco, camping, getting gear in/out of the car topper, fixing things around the house at dark or with limited light (under the dishwasher!). I have taken it running in the winter, and it does well, but it is not suited for lighting long distances.

Not for small faces

Zeal Ignite ST Sunglasses - Polarized

Rating for this product: 4 May 17, 2008

Loved the crystal-clear lenses - polarized lenses for much less then more well-known brands. Construction is nice and sturdy. Unfortunately, I have a small face, so these were just too big. The description should indicate these are for medium to large face size.

Great for active sports and smaller faces

Zeal Tensai Sunglasses - Polarized

Rating for this product: 5 May 17, 2008

I'm a trail runner and mountain biker and I've long been in search of polarized sport wrap sunglasses that won't shift on my nose or cause chafing on my ears. I've now logged hundreds of miles with these glasses and they still fit perfectly. If you've got a smaller face, these will be perfect for you - polarized lenses at a fraction of the "pop" brands!

Perfect for golf - but watch the sizing and the drop-neck

Oakley Button Down 2.7 Long-Sleeve Shirt - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 May 17, 2008

As with a lot of Oakley apparel, I had to order down a size to a medium, despite being 6' 1". The shirt feels great and is breathable for warmer days. In my opinion, the drop or "v" neck is great for a day on the golf course, but a bit too much "worship my chest hair" for evenings out on the town.

"True Fit" Sizing

Oakley Crosswalk Long-Sleeve Shirt - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 May 17, 2008

Sharp looking shirt, especially for those of us that have to wear business attire but don't want to look like we just stepped out of Dillard's. With Oakley apparel, I generally find myself ordering a size smaller despite being 6' 1". However, this time, I had to exchange my medium for a large - the tag inside the shirt actually says "True Fit" which I haven't seen on any of the other Oakley apparel I've purchased.

Not for small faces

Smith Prodigy Spherical Series Goggles - Mirror Lens

Rating for this product: 4 May 17, 2008

Great goggle - super clarity and sharp style. Unfortunately, these are way too big for those with small faces - they practically came down to my lips.

Bought Two - One For Wife, One For Me

DAKINE Heli Pack - 660cu in

Rating for this product: 4 March 8, 2008

Great pack - even for those of us that just stay in bounds 99% of the time. Holds just enough gear for keeping extra layers and a lunch for a day on the slopes. I haven't had a chance to test the diagonal ski carry, I only hike when the conditions warrant. The tube is freeze-resistant, but certainly not freeze proof on the coldest days or during night skiing. I had an issue where the tube would disconnect from the reservoir - Dakine sent me a replacement reservoir and tube under warranty without issue.

Very Happy - Big Fit

Oakley Glacier Freeze Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 March 8, 2008

Love this jacket. Nice and warm with a couple of vents for blue bird days. The liner jacket has a funky style to it that is not evident in the pictures and I probably won't wear it separately. Fit is very large, I had to order an XS and I'm 5' 3" and this is still baggy and long in the arms.

Perfect Sock for Skiing

SmartWool Ski Racing Light Sock

Rating for this product: 5 March 8, 2008

Socks are very thin, with just enough padding. I would like to try the medium weight sock, but these socks have proven excellent. I have used them in temperatures from 25 to 55 degrees.

Very Large Fit

Oakley Park Brigade Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 3 March 8, 2008

Ordered a size Medium and a size Small, neither fit me at 5' 3". Both were too large. Think I would have loved the jacket, otherwise. Ended up getting another Oakley jacket in size XS (not available for this jacket) which I love.

Excellent Pant!

Oakley Released Pant - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 March 8, 2008

They look fantastic and keep you very dry. They are warm enough for all but the absolute coldest single-digit days. They also keep you a very comfortable temperature on warmer days with all the vents. Fitment note - seems to be an Oakley winter clothing thing: the fit is very large and baggy. I had to exchange my Medium for a Small.
