Mountain Hardwear Lightspeed Mittens
March 24, 2008
Initially I was stoked with the new lightspeed mitties! They kept my hands warm while digging in the snow with the wind howling by. After two or three days of use however I must adjust my level of enthusiasm. The seam between the rubberized palms and the textile area on the sides has cracked open in several places, leaving it permeable for moisture. The fleece inners however are genius. Warm, with clever rubber patches on index/thumb/palm areas that increases grip. Summed up I'll give them a nod for warmth and a shake for build quality.

Salomon Trail Pro 2 Trail Running Shoe - Men's
March 24, 2008
I love my new shoes! Straight out of the box I put them on and went for a 12km walk, mostly on tarmac, and my feet were smiling when I got home. Excellent comfort and a perfect fit for my feet. The tightening system is clever too. And they even look cool!

Warm hands!
Mountain Hardwear Lightspeed Mittens
March 6, 2008
I've finally got my finger out and bought a pair of mittens and these didn't let me down on the first day of use. Cold as hell, digging a backcountrykicker, which means being in the nice white stuff a lot. My hands had a great time! (I did too)

...is now renamed and goes by the title The Apartment. This due to it's roomy comfort, warmth and overall ability to protect the inhabitant from the cold air in the Spanish mtns. In other words: Ten thumbs up!
