I wore these (in Gold Tooth) with the Burton Powerstretch Liners and they kept my hands warm - I didn't even do pipe! I wore them just as boarding gloves.

These pants were way warm and super-comfy! I wore them the first time I ever went boarding, and they were flexible enough. I didn't need more than 2 layers (these pants and a thermal bottom). The only problem I had was the hook above the zipper at the crotch broke off.
