Giro Remedy S Comp Helmet
January 6, 2008
Just spent a couple of days on the slopes in Fernie, BC with this helmet. The way I snowboard, I end up on my head often enough. This helmet did a great job. It is really light on the head and the fit is excellent. Looks pretty mean too. My only issues with the helmet are the following: 1) not all goggles will fit - I bought a new pair of Oakley A-Frames that I cannot use with this helmet 2) Ear vents let alot of cold air in when sitting on the chairlift or in a wicked crosswind 3) When stopped and breathing heavily after a good, steep pitch, your breath deflects off the chin guard and onto the outside of your goggles. This goes away immediately as you start your descent, but it is annoying nonetheless. All in all, a great purchase.
